First visit to Pepperclose Cottage. The whole week has been fabulous with wonderful beach walks and visits to Berwick on Tweed and beautiful Lindisfarne. Late afternoons back to this cosy cottage.
Time to head home with lots of Northumberland memories.

Lovely location, brilliant views of the castle and quiet and peaceful. Everything is clean and tidy. Superb location off the main street.
The village is impressive and warming the moment you drive into it. Great location for surrounding attractions.
We have stayed here before and is just the same as before. We want to return again with the grandkids.

“This cottage was immaculate in every way. Location was spot on with the view of the Castle all lit up in the evening. Looking even more impressive. Didn’t have to travel far if wanting to dine out. Lovely local pubs in the village and right on the door step. As we went off season it was lovely and quiet. Just as we like it. But even in season there is a play park at the end of the garden for any little ones to enjoy and a seat to keep and eye on them for safety. Just an all round amazing location.”

“The cottage was all that we could wish for. The location suited us perfectly; secluded yet simple and quick access to village and beach. There is only space for one car to park with simple roadside parking inappropriate on this narrow lane. We happily parked a 2nd car for nil charge at a parking area just 5 minutes walk away in direction of golf club.”

Luxury, premium accommodation, very cosy and homely. Very clean and lots of details with everything you need where it should be. Loved the fresh flowers which opened during our stay. Well equipped kitchen, even a champagne stopper!

What a fab week we spent here. The cottage was in an excellent location and very cosy and comfortable. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Bamburgh is a delightful location – stunning scenery, several excellent eateries on your doorstep and a great location to explore further afield. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for a lovely few days in Bamburgh. The cottage was perfect. Great location, very comfortable and so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Also really appreciated the detailed information provided and local tips: We enjoyed Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and the walk to Dunstanburgh Castle. Lunch at The Ship Inn in Seahouses and dinners at The Middle Inn were excellent.

Everything was just perfect!!
We immediately fell in love with the cottage as soon as we saw it. Its charming architecture, cosy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings captured our hearts instantly. The warm and inviting feel of the interior made us feel at home and we could easily imagine spending many happy memories there.

Thank you so much for the wonderful time we had in Bamburgh. We immediately felt at home in the nicely decorated Pepperclose Cottage. The location with the views on the castle and the beach nearby is of course magnificent. As we had plenty of sunshine and almost no rain, we may have gotten a false impression of the ‘normal’ UK weather!

Fabulous cottage, great first impressions as it was warm, cosy, clean and immaculately presented. Sadly we were unable to use the outside space but it was so nice to see these spaces so well kept, clean, shrubs and plants taken care of etc.
Cottage is so clean and this is paramount for us. We stay in approx 3 – 5 cottages per year and not many hit the mark on cleanliness. There is a difference between “clean” and actually “feeling” clean. It’s so appreciated, thank you!

Lovely cottage in great location. Very clean and very homely with absolutely everything you could possibly think of provided. Lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds. Great terrace space out back.
You thought of everything. The bottle of wine, local honey and cake were a lovely touch and very welcoming. Provision of tea, coffee and a bottle of milk in the fridge meant we felt completely relaxed as soon as we arrived.

Staying here has been like “cottage sitting” for a week while the owners are away. This is the only cottage we’ve stayed in which felt truly like someone’s home, with all the comforts and decorative details you would expect to see in a much loved private home. Everything is pristinely clean. And with 2 terraces, both with comfortable furniture not to mention all the plants!

This is our 2nd holiday in Pepperclose Cottage and we’ve just booked for 2023! Pepperclose is exceptionally well maintained and clean. The interior is beautiful and so are the front and back gardens. There’s everything you need, whether that be to cook a meal or go for a day at the beach. We love the location and it feels private, but just a stroll away from restaurants and the pub! We saw the pictures of Pepperclose on the website and knew it was for us. We love Bamburgh, so found the perfect cottage in a perfect location.
